Nathan's Four, First Day of Kindergarten and Pre School

I love this picture of Mariah!
Mariah LOVED going on the bus and finally going to school with her sisters!

Happy Birthday Nathan!

Mariah started kindergarten this year, she was ready and excited to go. She is in afternoon preschool. so she spent the entire morning asking me when it was time to go. She was confident and could not wait to ride the bus, when it was finally time to go she kissed me bye and ran out to the bus stop, when it was time to get on the bus she waved without a care in the world. Kent followed the bus and made sure she got to her class without any trouble. When she got home she said she loved it and could not wait to go back again. This week however, we were waiting at the bus stop and she said she was hot, I saw the bus coming so I told her it was to late to change her clothes, she ran away crying and went into our neighbors yard and sat down. When the bus came, I had to go over and drag her to the bus, she got on reluctantly but ended up have a good day.

Nathan's first day of pre-school was this last Wednesday, he loved his new Spider-Man light up shoes and his Spider Man backpack. He is going to pre-school with his two good friends so he had a great time. Nathan also celebrated his FOURTH birthday yesterday, Grandma and Grandpa Low came, Crystal and Kent and their kids, Josh and Nella, and Papa Quertinmont were all there to celebrate his special day. I made cupcakes with spiders on them and we had a Spider Man theme, he loves his Bakugon toy and his Air Hog flying plane the best.

First Day of School

I can't believe Kaycee is in 6th grade.

The morning of the first day of school is always organized at my house, the chaos starts about a week later. We had their outfits layed out the night before, backpacks ready by the door and lunches made and ready. That morning the girls woke up early, they were excited and only a little nervous, the girls have done this many times before, Kaycee is in 6th grade now and Samantha is 4th. Nathan was the most excited in the house that morning, he could not wait to walk the girls to the bus stop and watch them get on the bus. He screamed "BYE KAYCEE, BYE SAMMI" as they were getting on the bus and continued to do so until the bus was out of site. Mariah started Kindergarten this year but they don't go for a whole week after the older kids go so was pretty upset she was not getting on the bus that morning. Their first day went great, they both like their class and their teachers. Samantha came home and told me that her teacher called her "Kaycee" all day long and continues to do this even two weeks later. Samantha says the class will correct her and she will do it a few seconds later. (Kaycee had this teacher in 2nd and 4th grade) . I will post Mia's back to school pictures next time.
